This 65-inch Neo QLED smart TV is a mid-level 8K set in Samsung's top-tier Neo QLED lineup for 2022 that combines Mini LED backlights with local dimming and quantum dots. It offers top-notch overall picture quality, and very effective HDR performance. (Samsung TVs support the HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG HDR formats.) Though it lacks the wider-than-average viewing angle we see on some top-tier Samsung LCD-based sets, it does have very good sound. (It includes a 4.2.2-channel speaker system with upfiring speakers in the cabinet, and support for Dolby Atmos.)This set has Samsung's Tizen smart TV system, with Bixby, Google Assistant, and Amazon Alexa voice control assistants built in. The TV also supports AirPlay 2, but so far not Apple HomeKit. As part of a Tizen update, Samsung is switching from a row of apps on a bottom bar to a full-screen home screen. It also has an ATSC 3.0 tuner for receiving new Next-Gen over-the-air TV signals when they become available in your area. The TV comes with the company's solar-powered remote control that can recharge using the basic indoor lights in your home.
